The best part is afterward, when Nolan Smith lies there twitching like a nerve gas victim. Big Dave Neal — or as Jay Bilas calls him, Big DAVID Neal — is the best. He laid out Smith and still had the wherewithal to stick the three on the other end. In your eye, Dookies! Scoreboard, schmoreboard.

That was literally a knock out. Nolan Smith did not look well on the sideline. It’s too bad that we inadvertantly woke up Gerald Henderson. He is really good at basketball.
Despite the fact that we lost, I thought that game was a great game to watch. Both teams played great defense, seldom turned the ball over, and made some great shots. It was a physical game with the big men knocking each other around – and it was a finess game wtih great touch by Milbourne and Henderson. The fact that it never got out of hand for 36 minutes was really fantastic. But when Duke went up 66-60 after two long-distance 3-pointers you could just feel the game ending. Too bad – but I don’t think this loss will hurt Maryland’s chances for the Tournament.
This is the kind of douche bag commentary that makes MD fans look bad, that yells obscenities at opposing teams, that throws BATTERIES at opposing team’s parents.
If your reaction was anything other than “OH MAN HE GOT CRUSHED! OH MAN, I HOPE HE’S OK” then you suck, plain and simple, you suck.
We lost, they won, and you say “In your eye, Dookies! Scoreboard, schmoreboard.”
You are either trying to be a douche bag as a pathetic attempt to get more readers, or you truly are a pathetic person.
Lest you make a pathetic attempt to question my fandom, I grew up in Cole when you couldn’t watch a MD game on TV. My favorite players growing up were Kurtis Schutz and Exree Hipp. I’ve seen over 120+ games in person.
You don’t deserve to call yourself a MD Terps fan after that pathetic display of BS sportsmanship.
WEAK
Oh come on, CK. Don’t you think you’re overreacting a little bit? If my reaction means I’m not a “true Terp” (whatever that means), then I guess none of the Maryland coaches and players are either, as I didn’t exactly see them forming a prayer circle at midcourt.
If Big Dave could do it all over again, I hope he’d do it the same way. It’s not like Smith broke his neck. These guys have access to the best medicine in the world. So why don’t you save your little bleeding heart indignation for something that actually deserves it, and leave the jokes to those who have enough of a sense of humor to handle them.
