"I jus wan to, ju know, show the NBA what they're missing. I know I got de skills. But, ehhhh, all de glory goes to my coach Gary Williams. He believes in me and my heart, ju know, and pushes me, and loves me, and I love him."
Yes, we'll be hearing about it endlessly, but my point was he doesn't need the motivation. It was already there. There is a flame inside Greivis that cannot be extinguished. A big, bright, shining flame. That boy has the fire in his eyes. The passion. If he had not chosen basketball I bet he'd be a virtuoso at The Beautiful Game.
Please, for the sake of my sanity, don't mention Morgan State or Middle Tennessee State again. My heart is fragile. I need an offseason to gain strength and recover from those games.

I think he will use this as motivation...and we'll never hear the end of it. He'll talk for ten minutes about how it doesn't bother him, and then another ten about how it just motivates him to play better. We'll see how he does next season against the Morgan States of the world. That will go a long way toward determining whether or to what extent he has matured.
