It's pathetic when the team is celebrating its second .500 season in two years. "YAY, we're not terrible anymore just average!" I'm really glad they made this move. The previous coach was there for nine years. That's long enough to get past mediocre. Potential blog headlines missed by not hiring Turtle: turtle the top terp in the dugout with turtule, slow and steady wins the race turtle power! terps beat [opponent] [opponent] makes soup of turtle's terps etc. etc. Come to think of it, having Turtle coach the Terps makes puns sound a little redunant.
